Located on the first floor of the popular Mall 1, the new office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and latest technologies to ensure the airline’s guests continue to receive high-quality travel services, as well as learn more about its award-winning products and services and expanding global network.

Six members of Etihad Airways’ Pakistan commercial team, who have been operating in Lahore for the past nine years, will now move to the new facility.

Etihad Airways’ Vice President – Middle East and North Africa, Amer Khan, was invited to Lahore to inaugurate the luxurious new facility. Also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony was Etihad Airways’ Country Manager – Pakistan, Ahmad Zahoor.

Mr Khan said: “Pakistan is a strategically important market for Etihad Airways within its global network. Since we commenced operations to the country in 2004, there has always been a focus to enhance its operations and provide fascinating new experiences for the discerning travellers from Pakistan by providing greater access and convenient connections to hundreds of global destinations.”

Mr Zahoor thanked the audience for their over-whelming response and continued trust in Etihad Airways’ best-in-class products and services. “The new office in Lahore will help us build closer relationships with our ever-increasing customer base and travel trade partners, while reflecting our ongoing commitment to the Pakistani market,” Mr Zahoor said.

The grand inauguration ceremony was attended by more than 40 corporate executives from leading business enterprises, government dignitaries, along with representatives from American Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Etihad Airways’ equity partner Alitalia.

Etihad Airways commenced operations between Abu Dhabi and Lahore in February 2006 and since then has supported the growth of business and leisure traffic via Abu Dhabi by offering travellers a greater choice of destinations across the Gulf region, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

The airline currently offers 39 weekly return flights to three destinations in Pakistan, which along with Lahore, include Karachi and Islamabad.
