Earlier this week Etisalat received highest industry recognition at the GLOMO award at GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Etisalat stole the limelight at the GSMA MWC by receiving two gold medals and two special recognition awards. Etisalat received gold medals as winners of “Outstanding Innovation in mHealth” and winners as “Supreme – Connected Life Champions”. Etisalat also received recognition for winning two special awards from GSMA for the work successfully executed in Pakistan by Ufone and Etisalat UAE for “Mobile Connect – Digital Identity Service” a secure universal log-in solution.Etisalat GLOMO Awards
 
Etisalat’s award-winning mHealth, Mobile Cashier, Virtual Mall, Flous and Mobile Connect services are showcased as a part of GSMA Innovation City, where leading Global Service providers are demonstrating Industry-defining customer-facing propositions. The mobile health innovations which have secured awards at GSMA for Etisalat are very relevant to Pakistani market in context of polio related issues and Ufone is exploring their application in Pakistan to help the citizens at large.
