Xiaomi launches Redmi 8 in Pakistan

Redmi 8 builds upon a bestselling formula with a large 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support

Lahore, Pakistan, 28th November, 2019 Xiaomi Pakistan is going to launch the bestseller Redmi series with the all new and upgraded Redmi 8 smartphone with improvements on all fronts. Redmi 8 will be available for sale on Daraz.pk on 28th November and on Mistore.pk pre booking will start from 28th November. At Mi exclusive stores we will be offering Piston Basic Handsfree to first 500 Redmi 8 buyers, free of cost. Price of Redmi 8 4GB + 64GB variant will be PKR 23,999.


5000mAh Battery Champion

Redmi 8 ships with a massive 5000mAh battery, allowing users long hours of usage with every single charge. Xiaomi has once again set the standard for better customer experience by introducing USB Type-C 18W fast charging support for the first time in this price segment. With the before mentioned 5000mAh high-capacity two-day battery, Redmi 8 comes with support for 18W fast charging support on the Type-C port (10W fast charger inside the box)




6.22-inch (15.8cm) HD+ Dot Drop display

Redmi 8 features an aspect ratio of 19:9, promising an immersive experience and overall ergonomics. Wrapped in glass-like materials, Redmi 8 provides a premium hands-on feel with a polished and glossy surface.


Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 439 octa-core chipset, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and 12 MP Camera

Redmi 8 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset as processor which is blessing in this price range mobile phone. It offers a 2+1 dual SIM slot with dedicated microSD card support that allows storage expansion up to 512GB.

Redmi 8 features a 12MP camera, perfect for day-to-day snapshots. Redmi 8 also comes with a secondary 2MP camera – the dual camera setup offers depth sensing better portrait photos.
